Enjoy a week in Italy combining hands-on cooking with Chef Stefano and private guided tours through Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria and the Montefeltro region. Each day includes cooking instruction, market visits, local food tastings, wine experiences, and time to explore charming villages and historic sites — without having to plan anything yourself.

You’ll learn authentic regional dishes in a historic Italian home, then visit local producers, artisans, wineries, and medieval towns to fully experience the culture behind the food.

This is Italy with a private chef: immersive, personal, and unforgettable.

Itinerary

Every day includes hands-on Italian cooking plus private guided outings to nearby towns, markets, wineries or historic sites. You’ll explore small villages, taste regional specialties, shop with Chef Stefano for ingredients, and with ample time between activities to enjoy peaceful time at a private home Mt. Fumaiolo.

A sample day-by-day itinerary will be customized for your group and finalized based on seasonality.

Sample Itinerary

  • Day 1: Pick-up at Arezzo or Cesena railway stations, drive to Mt. Fumaiolo, check-in and lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 2: Breakfast at the local piazza cafe or home, drive to San Piero in Bagno for fresh, seasonal ingredients. Lunch. Late afternoon cooking class at 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 3: Breakfast. Visit Montefeltro (Emilia Romagna) and have lunch in San Leo at a local restaurant. Late afternoon cooking class at 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 4: Breakfast. Take a guided hike on Mt. Fumaiolo or visit Ravenna. Cooking class (2 to 3 hrs) and lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 5: Breakfast. Visit Citta’ di Castello and Citerna in Umbria and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon cooking class at 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 6: Visit Sansepolcro and Anghiari in Tuscany and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 7: Breakfast, cooking class (2 hrs) and lunch. Check-out and drive to Florence or Bologna.

During your stay, you’ll have exclusive access to Chef Stefano’s 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic stone house — completely private for you and your group. This 19th-century retreat features charming antiques, two fireplaces, a traditional stone oven, and a peaceful garden along the early waters of the Tevere (Tiber) River. It’s quiet, authentic, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of cooking and exploring.

This all-inclusive retreat is available year-round, based on availability. Pricing is listed per person, and includes everything during your stay — accommodations, meals,wine, transportation, cooking classes, and ingredient shopping with Chef Stefano.
