Itinerary

Your experience begins with 4 days of hands-on cooking classes on Mt. Fumaiolo, visiting small villages and local markets with Chef Stefano to gather fresh ingredients and prepare authentic regional dishes.

From there, you’ll spend 3 days exploring the Val d’Orcia wine country visiting Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza e Siena, tasting Brunello and Vino Nobile, enjoying scenic walks, and savoring the quiet beauty of rolling Tuscan hills.

Your final 3 days are spent in Florence, where you’ll explore world-class museums, historic piazzas, artisan neighborhoods, and iconic landmarks — all with a private guide handling the logistics so you can simply enjoy the experience.

A complete, detailed day-by-day itinerary will be customized around your interests and finalized based on seasonality and opening schedules.

Sample Itinerary

  • Day 1: Pick-up in Florence or Bologna and drive to Mt. Fumaiolo. Check-in, and cooking class, lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 2: Breakfast at the local piazza cafe or home, drive to San Piero in Bagno for fresh, seasonal ingredients. Lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 3: Breakfast at home or at the local piazza cafe, cooking class (2 hrs) and lunch. Late afternoon cooking class (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 4: Breakfast. Check out and drive to Pienza, check-in and afternoon walk. Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 5: Visit Montepulciano for a guided wine tasting and lunch at a local restaurant. Stroll and explore local shops.
  • Day 6: Breakfast. Visit Montalcino for a guided wine tasting and lunch at a local restaurant. Stroll and explore local shops.
  • Day 7: Breakfast. Check out, and lunch at a local restaurant in Siena followed by exploring the historic town. Afternoon check into a luxury hotel in Florence located 1 minute walking from Piazza Della Signoria. Afternoon walk and an aperitif in Piazza Signoria with historical overview followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 8: Morning walk and historical overview of Piazza del Duomo. Lunch at a local restaurant and time to explore shops. Afternoon Uffizi Gallery Tour with Private Guide. Aperitif in Piazza followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 9: Morning tour of Museo Opera del Duomo and lunch at Mercato di San Lorenzo. Afternoon walk in Oltrarno, a stop to savor the city’s best gelato, aperitif and dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 10: Breakfast, check-out and drop off at the train station or Airport.

Special note: Museo dell’Accademia and Museo del Bargello can be added to the schedule according to your interest.

Accommodations

For the 4 days of your immersive cooking classes you’ll have exclusive access to Chef Stefano’s 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic stone house — completely private for you and your group. This 19th-century retreat features charming antiques, two fireplaces, a traditional stone oven, and a peaceful garden along the early waters of the Tevere (Tiber) River. It’s quiet, authentic, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of cooking and exploring.

For your Val d’Orcia stay, you’ll spend 3 nights in the Pienza countryside in a charming boutique accommodation surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and rolling Tuscan hills. Wake up to postcard-worthy landscapes, explore hilltop towns just minutes away, and enjoy easy access to wineries, local cheese producers, and traditional shops. It’s peaceful, authentic, and perfectly positioned for exploring the most beautiful wine country in Tuscany.

In Florence, you’ll stay 3 nights in a historic B&B in the heart of the city center — just steps from Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio, artisan boutiques, and family-run trattorias. You’ll be able to walk everywhere, enjoy aperitivo in the piazza, and experience Florence the way locals do — without crowds, confusion, or the stress of navigating traffic.
