This 10-day incredible private culinary vacation begins with 3 days of hands-on cooking classes near Tuscany on Mt. Fumaiolo, followed by four transformative days in Florence and 3 in Venice. You’ll master regional dishes with Chef Stefano in his historic home, discover small medieval villages, taste local wines, and end your journey immersed in a world-class cultural city.

Itinerary

Your voyage starts with 4 days of cooking and exploring the Apennine foothills near Mt. Fumaiolo — visiting markets, villages and artisan producers with Chef Stefano.

Then you’ll make incredible memories in two of the most iconic destinations in Italy:

  • Florence — walk the Renaissance streets, explore renowned art, savor Tuscan cuisine in boutique surroundings.
  • Venice — drift through hidden canals, dive into seafood markets, enjoy evening boat rides and intimate concerts.

We’ll take care of all the details so every moment and memory is yours to savor.

A complete, detailed day-by-day itinerary will be customized around your interests and finalized based on seasonality and opening schedules.

Sample Itinerary

  • Day 1: Pick-up in Florence or Bologna and drive to Mt. Fumaiolo. Check-in, and cooking class, lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 2: Breakfast at the local piazza cafe or home, drive to San Piero in Bagno for fresh, seasonal ingredients. Lunch. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 3: Breakfast at the local piazza cafe or home and morning cooking class (2 hrs) and Lunch. Free time. Late afternoon cooking class around 4pm (3 to 4 hrs) and dinner.
  • Day 4: Breakfast at the local piazza cafe or home. Visit Ravenna (Emilia Romagna) to admire the World Heritage Mosaics, and drive to Venice and check into a luxury hotel. Afternoon walk followed by an aperitif in Piazza San Marco and dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 5: Breakfast. Historic tour with Private Guide at Scuola Grande di San Rocco to discover the Painter Tintoretto. Afternoon tree time for strolling and shopping.
  • Day 6: Breakfast and free time for shopping around. Tour and lunch at a local restaurant around the Rialto Market. Free time. Afternoon tour with Private Guide at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Aperitif and dinner at a local restaurant. Live concert with music by Antonio Vivaldi at 9 pm
  • Day 7: Breakfast, check out and drive to Florence (if your return flight will be from Florence, otherwise we can go to Florence on day 4 and finish your vacation in Venice if you’ll book your return flight from there). Check into a luxury hotel located 1 minute walk from Piazza Della Signoria. Free time and afternoon walk, aperitif in Piazza Signoria with historical overview and dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 8: Morning walk and historical overview of Piazza del Duomo followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Free time to explore local shops. Afternoon Uffizi Gallery Tour with Private Guide. Aperitif in Piazza and dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 9: Morning visit to Museo Opera del Duomo and lunch at Mercato di San Lorenzo. Afternoon walk in Oltrarno to enjoy the city’s best gelato followed by an aperitif and dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Day 10: Breakfast, check-out and drop off at the train station or Airport.

Special note: Museo dell’Accademia and Museo del Bargello can be added to the schedule according to your interest.

Accommodations

During your immersive cooking class experience you’ll have exclusive access to Chef Stefano’s 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic stone house — completely private for you and your group. This 19th-century retreat features charming antiques, two fireplaces, a traditional stone oven, and a peaceful garden along the early waters of the Tevere (Tiber) River. It’s quiet, authentic, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of cooking and exploring.

After your cooking classes, you’ll spend 3 nights in a charming boutique property right in the historic heart of Florence — just steps from Piazza Signoria and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio. You’ll be close to cafés, wine bars, artisan shops, and quiet Renaissance streets where locals live and gather. It’s the perfect base to explore the city on foot, enjoy evening aperitivo, and soak up Florence’s art and culture at your own pace.

You’ll soak in 3 nights in a historic boutique hotel tucked away in a more authentic part of Venice — close enough to walk to famous sights, yet far from the busiest tourist paths. Enjoy calm canals, small cicchetti bars, local markets, and the beauty of Venice at dawn and dusk. With your base in a real neighborhood, you’ll experience Venice the way locals do, without worrying about logistics or navigation.
