This 7-day private culinary vacation begins with hands-on cooking classes near Tuscany on Mt. Fumaiolo, then continues into the rolling hills of southern Tuscany with 3 nights in Val d’Orcia, one of Italy’s most iconic landscapes. From hilltop towns to medieval piazzas, this is the Tuscany of postcards and wine labels — quiet, authentic, and unforgettable.
Walk the historic streets of Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Siena. Taste world-class wines like Brunello and Vino Nobile directly in the regions where they are made, along with award-winning Extra-Virgin Tuscan olive oils and Pecorino cheeses from local producers. Surrounded by wide open countryside, sweeping vistas, and peaceful villages you’ll savor Tuscany at its most timeless.
Your journey begins on Mt. Fumaiolo, where you’ll cook side-by-side with Chef Stefano, visit small medieval villages, and shop at local family-run markets for fresh ingredients. After four days of cooking and exploring the mountains, you’ll travel into the heart of Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia. For the next three nights, you’ll visit historic hill towns, enjoy private wine tastings, stroll scenic streets, and experience the slow-paced charm of this stunning region — all without the stress of driving, planning, or navigating.
A complete, detailed day-by-day itinerary will be customized around your interests and finalized based on seasonality and opening schedules.
For the 4 days of your immersive cooking classes you’ll have exclusive access to Chef Stefano’s 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic stone house — completely private for you and your group. This 19th-century retreat features charming antiques, two fireplaces, a traditional stone oven, and a peaceful garden along the early waters of the Tevere (Tiber) River. It’s quiet, authentic, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of cooking and exploring.
In Val d’Orcia, you’ll stay in a charming countryside hotel with sweeping views of the Tuscan hills. Enjoy peaceful surroundings, relaxed elegance, and the warmth of true Tuscan hospitality. After each day of exploring vineyards, medieval piazzas, and small artisan shops, you’ll return to a comfortable retreat where you can unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the valley.
